On Friday, June 2nd in the evening we're performing a infrastructure upgrade to EqualCloud Shared Servers and EqualCloud Wordpress Optimized servers.
Details about the upgrade
We're moving a large portion of Shared and Wordpress Optimized sites to a much bigger, much faster servers in the same data center. Our recent growth is the main reason we have to add extra capacity much sooner than anticipated. We expect no downtime during this upgrade.
What Should I do?
As the upgrade is related to the infrastructure, we assume Shared IP addreses will be changed, So ONLY if your website or the application is using the IP address directly rather than using nameservers for DNS purposes or any other application purposes, please open a support ticket on https://billing.equalcloud.com and we are more than happy to help you. We will keep old servers till the next day (Saturaday), So by any chance if something went wrong, keep in mind that the backups are with us, so all you need to do is contact us. We will also notify new IP addresses as soon as the upgrade is completed.
We will do our absolute best to perform this operation as fast as humanly possible.
